What is Hopelessly Yellow?
In 2021, I co-founded Hopelessly Yellow at the University of Michigan to create a space for community, wellness, and mental health that didn’t exist before.
A small group of students passionate about human connection quickly grew into the robust team that shaped Hopelessly Yellow into the vibrant lifestyle brand it is today.
Hopelessly Yellow is home to personal, creative, & educational writing, bubbly graphic design & social content, music playlists you’ll actually want to listen to, special in-person events, and a lively podcast—all created for our community, by our community.
In 2025, Hopelessly Yellow has expanded to 15+ universities across the country. Our purpose has deeply resonated, filling a gap for thousands on college campuses and beyond.
How I Built the Brand
Logo
Designed a versatile, engaging, and easily recognizable logo to represent the brand.
Color
Hopelessly Yellow’s color palette is inspired by the sun, utilizing a range of yellows, oranges, and pinks.
Vibes
From 2021-2024, I laid the groundwork of our aesthetic. Bright, playful, calming, energetic.
